The Balke is easy to carry about, bringing light to wherever you need it. This model is basically a compact and easy-to-handle version of the emblematic Sammode tubular luminaire. This sturdy light is great for both indoor and outdoor areas. Hang the luminaire on pattresses to light up the kitchen or on a tree branch to illuminate those summer meals on the patio.

The Promenade collection embodies the Sammode tubular luminaire revolution launched in 2015, rethinking the entire concept. This range of small, compact and portable models is designed to leave the industrial world behind and settle in a residential environment, or for use in hotels and restaurants. These flexible multi-purpose lamps are compatible with both private areas and places open to the public.  

Normal Studio : trying out new materials with tubular luminaires

For more than 10 years, the two founders of Normal Studio, Jean-François Dingjian and Eloi Chafaï, have tried out options at every scale: from furniture design to architecture and staging. This pair of Parisian designers has been responsible for managing the artistic side of Sammode luminaires since 2014. Their remit: stick to the DNA of industrial tubes, but combine it with an architectural finish.
