Pierre Guariche : a headline designer from the 1950′s
Pierre Guariche (1926 – 1995) was a prolific interior designer and architect during the post-war period and is now considered an icon in the world of French design. Functional objects with sleek lines are his trademark. The luminaires he designed in the 1950’s are identified with a simple G and a number in a surprisingly modern manner. Each model conceals a hub of light technology, guaranteeing optimal visual comfort.

Just like all luminaires designed by Pierre Guariche, the G13 was based on the “form follows function” principle. A genuine glass Fresnel lens is concealed behind the perforated metal louvre, ensuring optimal glare-free light diffusion. combining design and technology to create ideal lighting conditions.
