Pierre Guariche : a headline designer from the 1950′s
Pierre Guariche (1926 – 1995) was a prolific interior designer and architect during the post-war period and is now considered an icon in the world of French design. Functional objects with sleek lines are his trademark. The luminaires he designed in the 1950’s are identified with a simple G and a number in a surprisingly modern manner. Each model conceals a hub of light technology, guaranteeing optimal visual comfort.
G25 : a wall light with a simple design
The G25 wall light is unique and sure to catch attention with its simple outline, so typical of 1950’s industrial light fittings. The top part of the luminaire is completed with a metal deflector which can diffuse light directly and indirectly, up and down. The length of the brushed varnished brass stem can be adjusted to match the surrounding environment. A discreet luminaire with a timeless design.
