Bering X-Cold
ø100 & 133 tube light for very low temperature industrial environments
At very low temperatures, over and above other settings, the safety that comes from good lighting is a priority.
Meets the European emergency luminaire standard NF EN 60598-2-22
The X-Cold Maxwell is an emergency light designed to illuminate environments exposed to very low temperatures, down to -60°C. This durably sealed emergency light able to withstand the most extreme thermal shocks and mechanical impacts is NF AEAS certified and designed to be supplied with the secondary 24 VDC network.
Corrosive substances, acid vapours

This luminaire is designed to meet food safety regulations and helps to ensure compliance with IFS, BRC and HACCP requirements for your site. This luminaire is sealed (IP68, IP69K), including for thermal shocks, thanks to reinforced silicone gaskets, and fitted with a pluggable connector protected against the ingress of humidity, ensuring a rapid, but reliable installation with no risk of losing parts.
The MAXWELL X-Cold is specifically designed as emergency lighting at extremely cold temperatures, integrating a customised electronic LED board to supply the secondary network with 24 VDC. Thanks to components which are specifically designed for use at -60°C, this fixture is not affected by frequent turning on and off or temperature variations.
At very low temperatures, the mechanical strength of a poorly designed luminaire can be seriously degraded. Thanks to its stainless steel end-caps and fixing straps and homogeneous polycarbonate diffuser with no mating surfaces, the housing can withstand impacts (IK10) and vibrations, even at -60°C.
To avoid the need to select between several models depending on the required direction of evacuation, our EVAC version is supplied with a set of 3 standard-compliant adhesive labels. These labels can be located as required, directly at the site, depending on the layout of the premises. Benefit from total freedom!
Designed and manufactured in France, keeping supply chains short and using durable components and materials, primarily sourced in Europe. Each luminaire is manufactured, assembled and inspected by our teams with full traceability.
Valid even for 24/7 use at the product’s maximum operating temperature, reflecting our unfailing commitment to our customers!
Even after 15 or 20 years’ use, every single part we supply can be easily replaced, with no need to send it back to us. No one else offers a guarantee of lifelong lighting solutions!
