The Sill 48 Xtrem luminaire is protected from corrosion to ensure tough resistance to corrosive environments, such as those found in the food industry, port applications, ore processing or other coastal industries in particular.
The LED source was selected based on its efficiency and exceptional durability. These bulbs last over 100,000 hours, including with intensive 24/7 use at a permanent temperature of 50 °C. The LED driver can withstand voltage surges of up to 8 kV, ensuring that this luminaire is suitable for high-risk power grids.
With its IP65 rating, the Sill 48 Xtrem can prevent any type of dust or water ingress, including water splashes in all directions, ensuring that this model is totally suitable for tough environments such as the food industry or any other environment exposed to dust or water ingress.
Two versions are available. The black version is designed for extreme industrial conditions, with extra strong tempered glass and a high-efficiency 4000 K source (or 3000 K as an option if required for outdoor applications). The white version is designed for industries where high quality light is essential, with a CRI>80 and polycarbonate glass, ideal for “clean” industries such as the food industry.
Savings on maintenance costs and peace of mind thanks to a solution with no servicing required over the next decade, offering real benefits for a routine set-up at height, with difficult access (e.g. cranes and jibs in ports, sugarworks, maintenance centres, large industrial hangars, etc.)
